A work that fuses traditional Japanese tansu (chest) hardware with skateboards. Tansu, often adorned with intricate designs, was originally used by samurai to store items like swords, garments, and documents.
The peony flower, known as the “king of all flowers,” symbolizes happiness, wealth, and longevity. The phoenix is believed to bring new possibilities and opportunities to those seeking success. It represents prosperity, longevity, immortality, and rebirth.
箪笥（TANSU）
日本の古い箪笥金具とスケートボードを融合した作品。
装飾のある箪笥は元は武士（侍）が刀や羽織り、文書類等を保管する為に使用していました。
牡丹の花は百花の王とされ、幸福や富貴の象徴や不老長寿をあらわします。
鳳凰は成功を求める人々に対して、新たな可能性とチャンスをもたらす力があると信じられています。
繁栄、長寿、不死、再生の象徴です。
